Who else wants to see technology get like this?

Who knows? Not sure I want multiped tanks running around on streets and buildings. The major is hot though....

Lol

This is her Japanese and English voice actress

As for the English voice actress.. Not sure if that is really her or not. Not much is known about her.

I don't know anything of the voice actors. I just like the character. Oh sure she is almost all machine, but then one could argue that I am part machine with my prosthetic leg lol...

Well image processing has advanced a lot. There are systems used in access control that can recognition a person on the fly for allowing or denying access to a building, and used in combination with systems like a proximity card system. So you have to not only have the card, but also have to be recognized as the person that the card is assigned to.

Naw, i'm still waiting for Holodecks, or the 3-D interface Tony Stark uses for a computer system in Iron Man and Iron Man 2, or actual Iron Man armor. J.A.R.V.I.S. would kick the chips out of Siri. it would also make one hell of a home automation system controlled via smartphone or tablet.

love that show.

and yeah i'm sure they do by now.

at least a few years ago retail chain stores were using the camera which detect body language and how long someone is hovering around a certain area to figure if they are shoplifters or not.

a box follows them around a lot like the show and turns red if the person exhibits stealy type behavior.

So im sure the government has much more serious tech going on.

Actually it isn't all that complicated. They have entire alarm systems that do not use any door contacts or motion detectors, and instead use image processing. The equipment for all of this is standard video equipment (cameras, DVMR, etc). The real difference is just software. I work in this industry and get to play with this cool stuff...
