Help Battery issue

Okay, not really a battery issue but I can't find any other way of getting help. I already posted one topic on here and got no replies so I'm hoping more people read this and can help:

I was having Twitter for Android notification issues so I went into settings. While I was in there I must have messed with the "Twitter verification" settings and now when I try and log in it asks me to go to twitter.com and generate a temporary password or type in a code. I was given a code originally and I tried to use it since I wrote it down but it's not working. All of this started when I flashed a new ROM and had to re-download Twitter. I am unable to log in now. Can anyone offer any advice short of me having to get a new account? :(
 
Lol and you think people are more likely to look at yet another battery post?? :p

Ha I figured it's worth a try. I'd at least accept an "sorry I don't know" vs no reply at all. There has to be someone out there who's knowledgeable about this

Go back to settings find the twitter app. then clear all data, then reapply to twitter try getting it to remember you. If all fails you will need to remove the twitter app. and reinstall it again. This is the best I can advise.:rolleyes:
 
I was using it just fine before I flashed a new ROM. Then I had to download it again and log in. When I went to log in using my credentials is when I began having trouble
 
Unbelievable :( I guess I will wait for Twitter Support to email me back but I'm not sure when I can get an answer
 
Oh well man. I dont understand twitter but does that mean you lost your followers?

Think Galaxy Tab was referring to was working fine till I flashed a new rom!

If happens again in the future try deleting Twitter using something like Rom Tool Box , then re boot then attempt to re download from store and set up.

Exactly how I read it too.
 
Well I don't care all too much for followers. I mainly follow tech stuff without having to manually go to each website (if that makes sense). I just had to search and find those accounts again. Anyways I have a new account and all is good. Thank you.

Yes I was just implying that he knew what caused the problem,and already understood he needed to get a new Twitter Act.:)
 
Exactly. Being aloof and making someone feel stupid really shouldnt give you a happy feeling inside. Talking to someone as your equal and helping them should (imo) :beer::beer:
