Screenshot is missing in android 4.2.2?

so shame that the screen shot icon now is gone in the new version of android 4.2.2.im using galaxy tab2 5113 and you tube says to pust the power button and volume key,its very hard to use that way,sometimes my tablet turns off or just the volume key went down vice versa.is anybody know if there is an app,good app that works great when it comes to screen shot?thanks,
 
Usually to take a screenshot you have to push the power and volume keys at the sametime, that is how I take them on my Tab2 and on my phone, you could search the Play store for like screenshot app and see what it brings up. As far as a good one I would just read through the reviews and see how people are liking an app. I don't use a screenshot app so I couldn't tell you which is a good one and which is not so good. I just use the standard power plus volume down button pushing. I would think even with an app you will still have to push a button or combination of buttons to trigger the screenshot action.

User on 4.1.X, the same procedure gives you a copy of the whatever is on the screen, which can be pasted into a .doc file

I don't know why they didn't just leave it as a Settings option, even if it wasn't the default setting.
