Anyway to make the speaker louder?

I noticed my note 2 speaker is louder then my note 3 and was wondering if there is a way to make it a lil louder? the note 3 is still louder then the s4 but in comparison to my note 2 its not. I have the volume up to 15 highest it goes and when i play music on my note 2 its louder then my note 3 i guess its because they put the speaker at the bottom of the phone?
 
Next time I power up my Asus OG Transformer, I'll see what the app is that I loaded on there. That thing had horribly quiet speakers and the app helped immensely.

Please find out that app. That's the reason why I got rid of my Asus, the speakers were terrible
 
I used Vol+ app on galaxy nexus and now on note II. i have the paid version on my usa primary note II. i have the free version on my international travel phone, the nexus 4.

vol+ cannot improve a bad speaker, but the paid version has good clean amplification and a good workable equalizer. the free version does not have enough amplification for me, but may still create a noticeable improvement. the free version lacks an equilizer and bass boosting system.

I cannot compare to the note 2 however you are correct the external speaker IMHO is much lower in volume than the S4 that I came from.
 
I also have the HTC ONE, This is where the HTC ONE shines. If the Samsung Note 3 came with the same speakers it would have been awesome :D Samsung instead chose to put one shabby speaker in this Note 3 :(
