Help APN issues T mobile note 3 on ATT

Ok I am having issues with the APN settings on my T mobile note 3 for use on ATT sim / network.

I attempted to use the following:

NAME: ATT Phone
APN: phone
MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
MMS proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
MMS port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
APN type: default,mms,supl,hipri

I cannot get LTE to work on my Note 3 via ATT. I also couldn't find the MMS menu in the settings to change the above.

I remember reading elsewhere that perhaps the sim that ATT gave me after scanning my T mobile phone Note 3 is designed / setup for WAP or GPRS. I say this as within my current AP settings it shows wap.cingular under "Cingular 410". Could this be the issue?

any particular reason you are looking to change your APN. As a software developer for some LTE infrastructure. ATT, Sprint, VzW are getting very precise into how apn's are handled. If you dont know what your doing, you'll likely to end up with no service at all. if you are using a different sim form an older phone/carrier, perhaps its best to take the phone into your new carrier and have them set it up.

Thanks for the response. The ATT store gave me a new sim to use with this phone. I get 4G only if I use the the Cingular 410 APN, if I try and create another APN per my first post I cannot get any data.

Glad its working (with new sim). As its been hallway talk the past few weeks (that was after getting a fix in for ATT because they requested an update in iOS7 which resulted in issues for all the iphones on their network... oops!) they have been asking us (infrastructure provider) to help them with how users (with essentially a non-att sim) can be handled when they are requesting voice or data connections to non-att APNs. Worse yet.. is the fix they want will allow people to hack into ATT network easier... oh well. they pay the bills.. we'll give them what they ask for...

Well still no LTE for me! I noticed they put the 2GB data Pro plan without LTE on my line LOL.

I guess for those that want to use ATT without data, just use a non ATT IMEI and it assumes its a dumb phone and they wont automatically force you on a data plan .
