Root [ROM][JB4.3.1][JLS36I][Unofficial] Chameleon OS Nightlies [11/9]

Awesome!!! Chameleon OS is great for theming. 0.8 worked well but 4.3 build will be even better. Looking forward to try your masterpiece. Good luck.

Got another build up but it gets stuck at starting android apps screen, I've tried rebooting and wiping both caches and still stays there, did vendor files need 4.3 updates also? I think mine are still outdated

Finally got a 4.3 build up and running, so far so good, some lag here and there, no data on first boot probably not on second either, will upload when I get back from school

4.3 9/30 build is up, might be a bit laggy at first boot, but second reboot helps a litte bit, and check under bugs in 1st post on how to get data working, and look at changelog in 2nd post for changes

4.3 works great !!!! Smoother, faster, prettier, and lots of options (including volume wake, menu bars, themes, 3-dot menu, kill app back button, hardware button, etc.). 4g/3g data. Works with most apps that I tried, Netflix, Amazon app store, 4.3 Gapps, SMS/MMS, voice, Assistant (like Syri), etc. Thank you Azoller1:D

Glad to head it's working well! I switched over to beanstalk it seems more stable than chamos

well after a day of beanstalk i switched back over to chamos, because active display was working way better on this than beanstalk, and beanstalk gave me awful battery, this has given me decent life, will try and get this and beanstalk built with linaro rom and kernel side

10/4 build is up, tried to build with the sabermod toolchain, but didnt seem to want to will try next build, i might need to start from a clean directory

10/5 build is up, added yoinx's script that stops thermald and mpdecision, because i think it thought it was getting too hot when it really wasent and wants to reboot, because when in deep sleep for 7+ hours it wouldnt reboot, but when it got a little hot for me it rebooted, so hopefully this build is a little more stable

Will you be doing that with the Beanstalk builds?

I came from Beanstalk and flashed this (wiped and flashed) but it's not rooted. Is that just a mistake on the latest update?

That fixed the non-root problem. Thank you bsharp for troubleshooting and azoller for excellent rom.

10/10 works great and a little faster/smoother than 10/5. Still has to manually enable root with ADB+Apps to activate root otherwise it defaults to Apps only and then root won't work at default. Data still needs reboot to work after initial flash and boot up. Themes work great. Overall ROM still a little slower than CM10.2 but probably due to great theme engine and support.

I went back to this ROM because it seems to be the only one getting updated. Everything is working fine so far but I installed the Xposed framework and once I rebooted everything went crazy (a bunch of system ui errors). I could tell that the modules were working but the errors kept on going until I uninstalled and rebooted.

Any ideas?
