Whatsapp - Unable to download images

I reset my HTC One X to factory defaults after the update and trying to install my older programs. There are some issues I am facing.

One is with Whatsapp, I can receive and send the messages but I can not open the images sent in Whatsapp. I get error 'The download was unable to complete. Please try again later'.

Any idea how to fix it.

Turns out, it was proxy settings in my network. I changed these settings for ad-block plus to work but it causes hell of a trouble with other stuff.

Problem fixed.

I have the latest apk file if u want. Works flawlessly

PM or not, redistributing apps via Android Forums is generally frowned upon.

For one thing, updating this way might well break the link to the Play Store and cause problems down the line.
