Long story short....my phone was broken and I need a new housing and lcd screen not motherboard ...when I get this fixed, will everything from my phone be deleted? Also if there is a password on my phone, who ever fixes it will they be able to bypass the password and see whats in my phone?

Hello ashleyct860!!
Welcome to AF:D

I would surmise that all your data and stuff will remain intact as the motherboard is the same:)
Will whomever that fixes it be able to bypass your password? Depends on how computer/android savvy they are. To be safe, make sure any personal info is backed up to your computer and removed from the device.

I would also surmise they would need to check the operation of the screen after replacement and will ask you what the password is anyways.
Make sure the person/shop is trustworthy to begin with.:)

yea if you know android well enough tha password is irrelevant, i cracked a galaxy s2 with no real trouble at all by flashing a custom recovery then using the adb connection to delete the file that stores the lock code. after that the pattern lock still appeared but would accept anything

all anyone has to do is.know what theyre doing and get an adb connection and its up for grabs, so if i were you id try to find a way to factory reset it first. get an adb connection in, erase everything in data, and cache, then youre good to go. any method of deletion will work and perform the same function as a factory reset through normal.methods

If you only change lcd screen, I think your data should remain there. You may need talk to the person who repair your phone to not erase your data.

Theyre keeping the mobo though bro ;)

right but they didnt seem concerned about losing their data they aeemed concerned about someone hacking in and stealing it from what i understood. it is kind of a double edged sword
