Any issues knowen with this rom starting with existing agat gb27 kernel?

To which ROM are you referring? The stock JB ROM GC01 is just the Boost labeled version of the same ROM that GB27 is. It can use the same kernels that GB27 uses.

The only Sprint ROM I've had any trouble with, beyond expected glitches, is Cyanogenmod 10.2 (which is JB4.3). It didn't have any APNs installed, and wouldn't let me import or create one. Other than that, it ran smooth, just no texting or mobile data. I'm currently running DirtyUnicorn Sprint JB 4.2.2 ROM until I find a 4.3 ROM that I can get working.

Why is it that you need a 4.3 ROM?

Probably because everybody wants the latest and greatest, even if they don't know the differences. It won't be long before everybody is asking for KitKat

I started with cm 10, then tried pacrom. Both were good, but today I found dirty unicorn. I LOVE it so far. More customization than the other two and it seems more stable and hasn't given me any problems at all. Give it a look. Oh and it's 4.3 as well.

Probably. I see no reason to jump on minor upgrades, unless it is preventing me from running an app I wish to run. Going from ICS to JB was worth it because of the performance difference in real world use. Samsung's JB release just runs so much smoother than ICS. I have not found the big performance difference between running CM vs running TW. I would say my data speed has been the best on the TW JB though. Google's OS updates have been more generic by design. They have separated their core apps from the OS anyway.

I don't NEED 4.3, just like some of the new features. Keyboard, camera, location services improvements. Seems to run smooth writing less battery draining.

Anyway, I've been having signal problems with the ICS modems, so until there's a ROM that can run with a JB modem, I'm back on 4.1.2.

You can change your keyboard. check out some camera apps (both on the play store as well as XDA.

Location services as in how well the GPS works? if so there are data file updates you can do easy enough (my GPS locks on quickly enough with in 30ft), and Google update the rest fairly well.

I get great battery life. kill off bloat apps, get greenify (xposed module). Don't use it on messaging apps. For a fairly big boost in battery life check out DS battery saver.

Yeah, I've been through several dozen keyboard, battery, and camera apps. As for the location services, 4.3 can use WiFi scanning to pull location information without connecting to a network or using GPS or network data. I'd rather get the benefits from stock if possible. Who cares why I want to be able to run 4.3? It's my phone, my choice, and frankly, my business. I wasn't asking for help, or complaining. I was just stating that I was running sprint software on a boost phone just fine. Wasn't trying to start some debate about why I should or shouldn't.

I wasn't debating, just pointing out options for you. It doesn't matter to me what you run so cool your jets. and WiFi location assistance scanning only works if the WiFi access point supports it.

TouchWiz 4.1.2 can pull location data from Wi-Fi only as well... I don't have a carrier and well check out the pics (no data connection or GPS, clock has location) that has been a feature in every JB build.

If I recall I think all the roms do this, and always have. Wifi over rides 3g all the time, at least it has for awhile now.

The automated setting in 4.3 is nice I guess, (don't think 4.2.2 has it) but if your like me, then I like to toggle my stuff manually. I like to be the one in control, but still a nice feature if you are one that likes the automated stuff. I think samsung has this same thing built in, and is called connections optimizer, so it's there in TW already. I turn it off though.

Yeah, from being connected to a WiFi network. In 4.3 it can do it without connecting to anything. Just through scanning the networks in the area. It's actually a separate option in the location services.
