Help Ringtone Volume

I have my ringtone volume on full, but I do noticed that it starts out low and takes maybe 1 or 2 seconds to reach full blast is this normal?

It seems if you use the pocket ring mode, this happens. Maybe takes a brief moment to discover its in a case or pocket.

I'm not sure what pocket ring mode is, but your escalating ring volume is common. I'm sure someone will come along shortly and recommend an app that addresses it. There are at least a couple available I think.

It's a Samsung thing. I use the app Disable increasing ring....works like a charm. I have used this same app on the S3, Note 2, and Note 3.

The app "disable increasing ring" works great! Have been using it for a couple of year without issue.

Thanks Fred, I didn't know about that setting. Turning it off or on however doesn't eliminate the variable ring volume.

I'm fine with it the way it is, but I know it irks some people.

I did not know that. I set up my phone before I activated it. It's always been on pocket mode. Did not notice the low to high ring volume until you told me.
I'm with you, I need LOUD on the first ring.
