Note 3 was stolen! Thanks where is my phone

ok so yesterday at work I had my phone in my locker all day at work and never used it. at 530 I went to leave and much to my surprise when I opened my locker it was not there:confused:! so I though I left it in my car but didn't find it:confused::mad:. my boss went around to a few ppl and told them I lost it and if anyone sees it please call him. well no1 ever did. so I get home and download the where is my phone app from my computer to my phone and then activated the gps. now I have the exact location gps to my phone. so we go to it and go figure it was a guy at my work stole it from me. just wanna give a heads up to anyone if you ever lose your phone you can find it even if you haven't got the where is my phone app currently on your phone. just download to your computer and your good to go. thank god I got it back with no damage and didn't have to shell out 700 for a new phone. :)
 
I hope he was arrested!! And fired get a pad lock for your locker. I grew up in Miami I lock down everything.
 
my boss told me to just let the owner make the call but im sure he will be fired. we work with other peoples cars and are in and out of them so im sure that he has been stealing from customer cars also. im very disappointed that this happened as is everyone else. we work for a very small company and we are a very big family. I guess it just shows that you can really never fully trust everyone.

I love this forum and I check it everyday and many of you have given me so many great tips for my phones. I haven't posted hardly anything but I want to say thanks to everyone for your tips and help.

Unfortunately, my experience from people who do alert the police about it's location using these apps is that they don't take action. :(
 
the guy was pretty dumb to leave it on but im very glad he did. yeah if you contact the police its hard to prove that someone took your property especially if its small like a phone so yeah I could believe that the cops usually don't find the device. just so relieved that I got it back cuz most people prolly dont

Agreed, it's such a shame that phone theft is becoming such a problem. Glad you got yours back. :thumbup:
 
OH SO HAPPY!!! so this guy shows up to work today (I choose not to say names for safety reasons) and he is drunk!!!!! lol ARE YOU KIDDING ME???!! the owner finds out and just fires him then and there so everything worked out. I found out he just got his 2nd DUI a week ago so I can see why he wanted to steal my phone now(needed money) so hes gone and im just happy that I have my phone so this is the end of the story lol. thanks for the support guys.
