The last I heard people were getting reports that they were out of stock and was expecting a shipment tomorrow.

Guys, I'm pretty sure that West Chester is the Verizon warehouse location that the phones are being picked up from, hence the picked up notation in the FedEx tracking. The arrived or left origin facility entry is the first FedEx location it reaches typically a local or regional hub. After that it should go to your local office where it would be received and ultimately put onto a truck for delivery to you.
Sometimes the path of these locations makes no sense geographically. In my case the phone has been picked up from Verizon in West Chester. I am located by Reading which is about 30 miles to the west of West Chester. Now this is the illogical part. My phone proceeded to go northeast to Newark, NJ, which is a FedEx hub. Newark is about 120 miles from where I am. My thinking on why it went there instead of a more local hub is that Verizon shipped my phone with overnight delivery and this requires the more immediate sorting that only can be done at a major regional hub. So now since my phone is scheduled for delivery tomorrow I should wake in the morning to see that it travelled all the way back west to my local Reading office and placed on a truck for delivery. In the end my phone will have travelled about 240 miles to be delivered about 30 miles from it's origin.

Most of the time, processed, and shipped are completely different when it concerns a credit card charge. My company will not run a card until the shipping department actually prints the shipping label, and ship reports that particular order, which will have a tracking number at that time.
Hmmm, like Mopho shipping info for me was around 3am. Maybe either yours has a shorter plane ride or its going ground (its like 6 hours memphis to atlanta). I was kinda thinking the earlier the shipping info came in the earlier they go out. Who knows.

Both ours should be on that midnight train to Georgia. Oh well, I guess I will just go to sleep and trust she will be waiting for me in the morning. One step closer.
Well the good news is I will get plenty of time to play with the phone in the lobby of the therapists office after all this is over.

Well Verizon's cut off time for shipping is 4:30 I think so they probably gathered as many orders then sent them all at once.
Mine hasn't updated with any new info since it left Ontario at 7AM. Shipping to Irvine.

Yea I actually couldn't wait to go to sleep last night, my order status changed to Your order is processing please check back tomorrow so I was anxious to find out what was going on. I called at 8:01am I think and by chance I got someone in the processing dept. they said they were helping with calls since they were getting so many. He said my tax id didn't show up on my account when I ordered and he personally processed my order and shipped it out today.

Ugh, this is the kind of response that's been freaking me out for the past 3 hours since I got that message... I'm not ready to jump to "there must be a problem!!!" just yet, but I'm ready to call if I don't see a change by tomorrow afternoon.
Edit: wow, after reading that, I sound *really* impatient, ha ha... "You've got 16 hours to ship it or I'mma call and whine, Verizon" *taps foot, checks watch*
When I received my LG Dare about 2 years ago, it shipped 2 day shipping around early afternoon on a business day and I got it at 8AM the next day in Philadelphia for what its worth. But yes, West Chester is Verizon's (*cough Bell Atlantic) distribution hub for the tri-state and surrounding areas.

Hmmm.... so my order changed Sunday evening to "processed...will receive in 2-3 days" and I still don't have a shipping confirmation email or any change in status on the website to reflect shipping. Is that normal? Should I have received a tracking number by now? Thanks for reading!
