can you edit the keyboard?
I'd rather have the comma as the main key instead of the full stop and have the full stop as the long press
ha, got it now, thanks, didn't know i could do thatIts the Google keyboard, so you have the same setting options as the one on the market.
I have the comma on the main page replacing the voice key

It seems my reboot didn't correct duplicate texts. My latest thinking is maybe some of my contacts are in more than one place. Is this feasible and if so how do i find the "linked" contacts.
where the comma is in that screenshot was the speech icon,Where is the voice key on Nexus 5s Google keyboard?! I've been searching everywhere and long pressing the comma does not work.
Edit: Long pressing the comma brings up only the settings button.
where the comma is in that screenshot was the speech icon,
i had to go into settings > language & input > press the settings button beside the english language and untick Voice input key
Hey guys,
... Again, I just want to apologize to everyone, and hope you'll understand how truly sorry I am that this has gone down this way.

Thank you for the prompt reply, I shall try your suggestion if there's no Stock ROM alternative. I'm trying to stick to pure Stock for now before Root, etcetera, at a later date as I don't wish to void the Warranty just yet.If you download zedge, then download some tones. go into the app you want to change the tone of, it should come up as a choice. Hope I explained it well
Maybe try > Play Music > Settings (top right corner) > Equaliser > FX booster + required preferential Bass boost & Surround sound.I am noticing that the audio quality with an aux cable is not as rich....

It's unnecessary to apologise as you have given hope to many people seeking knowledge to resolve their issues...................you owe nothing to anyone.
This thread also drawn others with interest in the Nexus 5 and KitKat. A place to ask and answer questions, creating a sense of camaraderie which is what a Forum should be. Unfortunately, forums do draw people with over sized testicles who's only objective is to be argumentative.
Oh............... My question :- How can I set a song from the Music Folder as the Ringtone ? or any other alternative to KitKat Ringtones.
Recieved my replacement handset and so far no texts that i know of have been sent twice.Fingers x'd it stays that way

Does it have FM receiver?
Get 3rd party ringtone will suffice, I have no interest in what you can manage.Get a 3rd party ringtone maker,so simple even i can manage it.
