Root Help with autokiller

Hi all,

I know how you all feel about task killers, but this one works differently in that it tweaks the adroid's built-in management system.

That said, I tried it today. I'm rooted, running Bugless Beast 0.9, etc.

Allowed root permission for the app, set it to "extreme" setting (all values over 140) just to see if it would work.

Hit apply.

Nothing. I go into processes, and every single "empty" app and such is still running, even though my avail. memory is only 67.

I try aggressive, strict, optimum, etc. All of them still allow the empty apps to keep running.

I even rebooted as per the instructions and it still isn't working as I thought it would.

Any ideas?

EDIT: You may also see a FC on autokiller upon reboot. Just hit wait, and it will still work. Not sure if that is what is happening to you, just an idea. Autokiller seems to work just fine for me. There is another handy paid app called Autostarts that can control when programs start or not that helps with memory and therefore too many running apps/forcecloses.
