AT&T: I upgraded to 4.3 but do not have the KNOX app. WHY?

I didn't say you have the Knox app, I said you had Knox, but that was my fault I misread what you saying. I'm not sure how it works on the SGSIII but in the app drawer on the Note 3 and S4 you will find a folder called Samsung apps. In there is an icon that allows you to download the actual application.
 
I have an S3 with JB 4.3 (Bell Canada). In the app drawer there is (for lack of a better word) a Knox Shortcut (has a curved arrow like Windows short cuts). If you click on it it gives a short description of Knox and a button to install it.
 
Ok. Point blank I'm pissed off. I just want the stupid knox app for my att gs3. Ever gonna happen or ahould I say screw the s3?
 
What do you need the app for? Did you check samsung's app store? Maybe someone who has it could upload the apk for you?
Personally the thought of having samsung software on my phone makes me physically cringe lol :D

I want the app for the purpose the app was built. To have one device for work and personal use. By the way, if this helps anyone: I have AT&T, I have the US version of the phone, It is not rooted.

You won't get the app to make it all work on an AT&T S3, they have disabled it. Sorry I could have saved you alot of angst if I read the entire thread. I only caught that it was an AT&T phone a couple of posts up.

So screw AT&T, not the S3.

I belive it was a mistake. They rushed out 4.3 and it caused quite a few problems for lots of people. So they pulled it and redid the update. I'm not 100% sure what exactly happened, but I do know while the secure bootloader is in place on 4.3 the Knox icon to download and install Knox the actual app has been removed.

It doesn't come from Samsung's own app store or Google play either, so, and I'm not sure something as security tight as Knox could be anyway you'd have to find someone who has extracted the Knox app.

Why does that not surprise me? AT&T must have a sweet deal with Apple I suspect (and iPhones aren't that secure really of you know what your doing).

Anyway I've signed it for you. When I get some time I'll download Knox (the application) for my Note 3 and try and extract it for you once I root. It may or may not work, hell I bet I can't even extract it, but if I do I'll let you have it.
