Root LG Spirit Root Hangout Lounge and Discussions

Hey guys, I'm having an issue with my wifi on the phone that I never had before where my 4g is faster than my WiFi. If I go to download something on WiFi now, it takes 5 to 10 minutes when it used to take seconds. My wifi @ the house is running fine for all other device but for the pass few days my phone is super slow on WiFi. Please help.

Well we can't really help unless you tell us what rom your in which kernel and if you messed with the system even more besides what the rom already had

I'm using Samurai V3 and PG's kernel, but I have not played around with my system in a while to even say that maybe it's something I changed in the system. It just started to happen out of the blue which is kind of strange.
 
I just drank an energy drink that expired 7 months ago :eek:

Update: I guess I have an iron stomach because I am still not feeling sick :D
 
That is what I was thinking. Now that I think about it there has been a lot of work done to this phone by GT, PG, and aboat. I hope there are devs like this on the next phone I buy lol.

yeah, if only i could convince them into buying a Mega..:rolleyes:

:p if i had won the lotto I would have bought them both one.
 
Haha good luck with that. I want an s4 because it seems like there has already been a lot of work done on it but I doubt I will get it because of the price.

I'd never pay that much for a phone. ever paying the 400 for the mega was a big thing for me
 
Yeah I agree with you on that. I was mad when I bought the spirit because I didn't get the rebate on it because the store didn't allow it at the time. They said it was because the phones were selling like crazy. I had to wait two weeks before my store had a spirit in stock and now I want a new phone
 
Hey guys, fixed my slow WiFi issue. Apparently when resetting my modem and wireless router, you have to unplug them at the same time. The whole time I kept on unplugging them one by one so my issue was never fixed. Phone working flawlessly again. Thanks for those who tried to help.
 
Sup guys...Ordered my nexus and it should be here either Thursday or Friday....so peace out and thanks in advance for all of the hard work from all of the online homies who worked on this phone and the community in general :D

I didn't want to spam GT's kernel thread so I am posting here. Does anyone know if this is correct for the init.d? I feel like "done" should be deleted but I am not sure lol.

So since things are a bit quite around here due to family stuff I will ask anyways anyone get cm11 to build at all or would you say that the end is near for our devices
