Help Zte Flash Camera not connecting!

i just recently got my ZTE n9500 only to realize the camera is not connecting,
Ive tried talking to sprint

Customer: alright, i checked online, im not the only one having this problem

Customer: also when i try the flashlight app it says "the led is being used in another application" and there is nothing else running

Caroline V: I've checked the known issue of this phone but it seems that your new update has corrupted the programing files of your phone and they need to installed manually. I request you to please visit your nearest Sprint store to get it checked, they will check if there is issue with the operating system and they can reload for you.

Customer: the os is still 4.04 as it came , but i will try this

can someone please tell me how to fix this problem by Hand because i mainly bought this phone because of the camera

First reboot phone. If that doesn't work go to your app settings and clear data on the camera. Reboot and try again. Me and my wife have this happen a good bit. Her's more than mine.

thank you for replying but i tried that and it still says "cant connect to camera" it even says on third party apps

That always works for us. There was an update for the camera firmware. Have you tried running the update for that.

Its a strange problem. I never faced such issue. Tried factory formating?

if your rootrd just go to the all things root page and then there are factory images you could flash through fastboot will fix it

Thank you, but its rooted but im not sure how to flash is there a certain program, or a way to get to fastboot menu ?

Yes i did, i factory soft and hard reset this phone >_<

if you know how to use adb use the command adb reboot bootloader
or when you power on hold down volume up and down and power

Every time I'v had an camera connect problem its been related to a flash light widget . Sometimes they dont let go when turned off. In true context, i'v not tried this CWM beta.. cant afford to lose my hardware..

Plug in your headphones then reboot the zte zmax while the head phones are still plugged in. When the phone is back up and running unplug the headphones. And your camera should be working....

If your phone is rooted and you factory reset from settings, that is probably the reason your camera is not working. You cannot factory reset a rooted phone. Do you have a custom recovery like TWRP or CWM? Are there any custom or stock ROMs for your phone?

Maybe you can find something to flash and keep root.
