Help Receiving Texts twice

Hi all

I have Huawei Ascend Y300 and I am getting double text, sometimes they come in together and sometimes apart with maybe an outgoing message in between. It is intermittent and from more than one contact. I have been on my providers

thank you for your reply. I didn't know you could, I just use what came on the phone.

Would I have to change settings to use a new app.

Any help is always appreciated.
