stuff works flawlessly, and the keyboard even has some hot keys that dovetail nicely with kit kat...

OMG that is off the hook. how is it powered, and is that a touch pad for like a mouse?

another question since we are kinda on the subject of bluetooth. Is it possible to use a bluetooth mouse and keyboard at the same time for the nexus 7 tablets.

Yea, cheaper BT stuff tend to be laggy. I buy generally only Logitech, and my Mx1000 performs flawlessly on Android.

I was also surprised that the cheapie keyboard/trackpad combo I posted a link to also performs admirably on Android. No lag, no random disconnect. Highly recommended for the price.

Yeah they work great together. You just connect the 2 bt devices and start using. For me more of a novelty than anything else really, but it is pretty neat to use your tablet like a computer imo

It looks like a nifty little unit, but since it is so small you can't touch type on it so I don't see the advantage. I use the Swype keyboard and find it works very well. I frequently use the speech to text function and can dictate faster than I can type. It is not perfect, but is close enough.

Right, it can be a pain to type a long email on. The advantage is the built-in trackpad mouse that works perfectly with Android's native support.

I can see that. After seeing the stylus (AM Pen) that my son got for his N7 I bought them for myself and my wife. They work really well and, like using the trackpad, help keep the screen clean.

Now when u use a BT mouse or touch pad does it show a mouse icon?

Not really, to me it is just a novelty. I bought a bt mouse and keyboard about a month ago, played with them once for 10 minutes, the novelty wore off, put them in the office drawer and haven't touched them since. :D

I use the kb/trackpad combo often when using my tablet out in the field. Not only does it make using the device easier (like selecting links in Chrome) but it gives me full mouse support when I remote in to Windows workstations and servers, including the ability to easily right-click.

I use TeamViewer to remote in to a Windows computer on my home network. Right click is simply a long press with my stylus. I can also click and drag with the stylus.

I have a stylus as well.

I'll tell you right now it's a better, faster experience with a mouse.

IT moves quick, no time to lollygag.

:D
