I was eating my artichokes..cracked open a beer...and WHAM!! now I can't stop sneezing...my throat hurts and I have a slight fever...wtwhat boo hisssss boo stomp sneeze!
guess it's on to vernors and nyquil..
hmmm...and pudding chocolate pudding
oh yeah...be forwarned
I'm already in sweats and was ushered upstairs to bed...to get some rest.(hmmm I think they are trying to get rid of me!!...I think they don't like being around me when I'm sick..I think they think I turn into a needy winey big baby)

There's a magic cure for colds. First you have to find a dead chicken. Then you place it in a cauldron over a fire with five carrots laid on top in a star pattern. You can add some celery, chives and parsley, too. A Tribute to Woody
here's a recipe for the ginger syrup and or the shake or float. Oh, by the way, "Woody" is the gnome that appears on the can or bottle
it's as as close as you can get without coming back here
serves2
1/2
cup thinly sliced peeled, fresh ginger
1/2
cup white granulated sugar
1/4
cup packed light brown sugar
1 1/2
cup water
1/4
teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients except the vanilla in a saucepan. bring to a boil and then simmer for about 15 minutes until reduced to one cup liquid. Remove from the heat, stir in the vanilla and cool and strain.
mix 1/2 cup pf the ginger syrup with 3 cups sparkling seltzer
pour over vanilla ice cream for a Boston Cooler
for a shake combine the syrup ice cream and seltzer in a blender
