Root Deleted Google Search App... Help!

I was getting the new 4.4 apps for my phone (Samsung galaxy xcover 2 rooted). Then when i installed the new Google search, I wanted to delete the old one. i went to root uninstaller and deleted the old one(the new one was showed as a backup for some reason). It looked like nothing had happened when I deleted it so i tried deleting it again which resulted in both the new and the old one getting deleted. This resulted in my phone immediately restarting. When it restarted the home screen wasn't showing. The screen was black with only the notification bar showing. From the bar i managed to get to the phones settings but not to open any apps. I still have the .apk file for google search so the only thing i need is a method to open the .apk file and install it again. Please help.

Are you sure it was only search you deleted? I dont think its essential to the phone tbh.
Its in play store so can you install it remotely from a desktop?
