Help Samsung I9105P Galaxy SII Plus - Updating Android

I've recently purchased a Samsung I9105P Galaxy SII Plus and this is my first phone with an Android system in it. The version of Android the phone shipped with is 4.1.2 and I've read that 4.4.2 (KitKat) is also compatible with my phone.

The question is: How do I update it? As said, this is my first Android phone and I don't have a clue how to do this stuff. A decent tutorial would be highly appreciated.

Wait until the carrier updates the phone over the air.

Simple, wasn't it?

Any other method involves doing things that void the warranty to the phone and unless you know what you're doing, lead to the phone turning into a paper weight.

The carrier is the one who sold you the phone(AT&T,Sprint,Verizon,Vodafone,Orange etc.)

They will send you the update when it's available.
