ZTE n800 tips and tricks

All kinds of stuff to have fun with on this phone. :)

1. Change your launcher. Im using Nova Launcher. Lots of options.
2. Games of course. My favs right now are Table Top Racer and Badlands. Awesome!
3. Download different ringtones. Im using the Jetsons doorbell. lol
4. Download or create some new wallpapers. Here are a few I made using GIMP. (The originals are much cleaner.)

5. Root the phone! Rooted mine. Love it! See this thread:

6. Install Flash Player: (not sure if you need to be rooted)

There are just a few things I did to make my phone much more enjoyable. :D
 
Definitely root the phone. This opens up the ability to wifi tether via Wifi Tether, and also lets you get rid of the awful bootsound. When you replace the bootsound, make sure you rename what you are replacing it to bootsound-virgin.ogg.
 
I've been using the stock email app. The only thing I don't like about it is the lack of a 'Select All' feature. I've used K-9 mail on previous phones and I would recommend it also.
