Which glass protector with Poetic Atmosphere

I have not used the Atmosphere either, but I have used glass screen protectors.
I would recommend trying one of the cheap ones, but they will be thicker and add a bit of heft to the device, which I actually like, but they take almost a month to reach the states.
The Spigen is hands-down the best screen protector you can buy according to the reviews I have read. Pretty dang thin too. If there was one that would work, that would be it.

I am using a Poetic Atmosphere case (I love it too!) with the iSmooth screen protector & have no problems at all. They're a little cheaper than Spigen but I have also read rave reviews about Spigen. I just chose to try the less expensive option first & it's working out great. They're also guaranteed for life. Amazon has a 3 pack for $10.

Didn't think so but look at his response. My op is about finding a glass protector and he references the spigen which is why it confused me. I even questioned it being a 3 pack of glass protectors
Oh, I'm right there with you. I'm guess he/she thought glass screen protector when they read, instead of the intended glass screen protector.

A screen protector that is made of glass. If you haven't seen one before, they're pretty awesome, especially the very thin ones.
Yep that's exactly what I'm after. A protector made out of tempered glass. Just something that is known to work with this case.

Interesting, I've never heard of them! But I'm curious, what would be the point? If it's made of glass wouldn't you be just as well off with no screen protector? Or is the benefit that you can easily change it if it gets damaged?
That is my thinking. I like the feel of glass, as well as the look, but I don't like going naked. I do actually like the heft the thicker ones add too. Just barely noticeable, but makes this feather of a phone feel more substantial to me.
Oh, and if you get that install just right you can have it there "forever". The plastic ones always end up getting all scratched up on me.

Just installed the Spigen Glas.tR tempered glass screen protector on my S4...hands down, the best screen protector I've ever used, and definitely the easiest one I've ever installed. It still fits in my Otterbox defender, and my Spigen slim armor view case.

Check out some youtube videos of damage testing with tempered glass screen protectors. Pretty amazing, if you ask me. The screen protector will shatter, protecting your phone's screen.

As far as the installation goes, the beginning steps are almost identical. An alcohol swab to remove grease and fingerprints, followed by a lint free cloth to remove any traces of dust. Since it is tempered glass, the screen protector is rigid, which allows you to line up the protector perfectly. Once you have the back protective film removed, you line it up, and set it down on your phone. Press in the middle of the screen protector, and you actually see the adhesive spread throughout the entire screen, bonding it to your phone. If there are any air bubbles, they are easily removed with the supplied squeegee. This is the first screen protector I've ever installed that when I was done, I did not have a single air bubble.

And on another note, I have never felt a better screen protector. Since it's glass, it feels just as smooth and slick as the original screen. No stickiness, no hesitation, just as good as using the phone without a screen protector. The Spigen Glas.tR also has rounded edges, so your finger doesn't catch on the edge of it. I have noticed no interference whatsoever in the proximity sensors, the finger hover, nothing. I cannot recommend this screen protector enough!

I got a screen protector with my new phone, but I question their real benefit. Do you throw your phone around a lot or scrape on it with hard metal tools? My Thunderbolt screen held up fine for over 2 years and had one little minor scratch on it in all that time. I probably won't replace the one on my S4 after is done. The glass is Gorilla glass invented by Corning. It is extremely hard and specifically designed to resist scratching. Frankly I think a lot of these products just make someone money. I even have a cheap rubber case on mine that came free. A good case might be the only thing worth buying.
Gorilla glass is very very hard, but the secret to it is coatings, which do eventually wear down. Underneath, it is still just glass. Every time I leave a phone without a screen protector I see bad things happen. Gorilla glass is not magic or perfect, but I think it is amazingly good.
Often what this kind of thing comes down to is personal preference and "pickiness" if you will. I can't stand it when I find a scratch. Can't stand a single one, even if I can only see it in the evening light when I hold the phone at a weird angle and the moon is at the right angle.
When my screen protector gets a scratch , I can tear it off and slap on a new one.
That is why I use them.
