Developed on an unactivated N800, this ROM is made to how I think a ROM should be made.
A few warnings:
- This does not include a custom kernel (anyone who thought it would, go do something dangerous that I'm prolly not allowed to tell you to do)
- This is NOT a feature-centric rom. Its more for simplicity, speed (while maintaining stock kernel, and overall stability.
- Still Odexed....if you don't understand why I didn't "de-odex", look up the differences. You'll understand
- Feature requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis
- Google Play edition boot animation
- Kitkat sounds (I HATED the stock sounds)
- Kitkat Wallpaper Default
- More Live Wallpapers
- Removed Stock Launcher and its wallapapers, replaced with SickSky and Chromium Wallpaper Picker
- Removed much of Google Apps (can be downloaded from Play Store)
- Updated Gapps I left in
- Removed Stock Browser, included Lightning Browser (faster)
- Removed Stock Camera, included 4.3 Camera
- Added NextApp Keyboard, removed all others
- ADB on boot
- ROM appears unrooted but it is, just no superuser managing app preinstalled (so install SuperSU or Superuser, YOUR CHOICE)
Bugs:
Camera's post capture edit function is broken (FC's camera app)
Camera doesn't open from lockscreen (key does still work though)
First boot, Play Store will not display apps, reboot fixes issue (if not, wipe Play Store cache and reboot)
Hangouts crashes on first boot. Reboot and it'll be fine
Other notes:
First boot will be slow, afterwards it should boot in under 10 seconds
