I told him they could have a sleep over this summer:rolleyes::D

I have all spayed females. The feral fluffbutt used to be small enough to fit in a ferret bed. She is now huge. Her father was the size of a raccoon.

I get to sleep with 2 of the cats at night. The Snowshoe takes up half the bed. The Siamese makes a small ball, and they both snore.

This thread has gone so massively off topic that I feel I ought to apologize for taking it back even for a moment, but ...

I was watching a TV game show with a grown woman when the question arose "Who was the first president of the United States?" The contestant answered, "George Washington," whereupon my acquaintance exclaimed, "I didn't know that!"

And all cats know how to take up half the bed. Even half of a king size bed. No matter what size the cat is.

Lol very true. My cat takes all my covers as well. I literally wake up freezing about to fall off my bed. I use only a quarter of it while my cat takes rest lol

Love cats, might get some more sometime :D

Back on topic, I think capitalism is ultimately to blame for falling education standards especially in the western world, & especially when times are economically bad. Corruption features smack bang in the middle of this & while things are bad, somehow politicians & corporations are getting richer - but conditions for Joe public are getting worse.

In the world of politics, spending has become a dirty word - yet it is OUR money they'd be spending, on things that need spending on!!! They promote work, to the extent of persecuting those who don't & we pay taxes. Surely we should get what we pay for!!! This is because the world of politics & the world of corporate greed are now one. It's all one big melting pot of corruption where corporations, banks & politicians are all living by the same standards of profit, for THEMSELVES.

Just to reiterate the point - the world is in financial crisis while the rich are getting richer. Unfortunately, education comes under public spending & they don't want to do that. The only times politicians will give big money out is to save face or risk losing elections. We've seen it ourselves already - in some natural disasters they'll respond accordingly, whereas in other places they'll not bother & let it all go to ruin. We are still paying for this!!!

Most western governments rule over us due to our own apathy, it's much better for them that we are loyal Labradors who roll over for the belly scratch rather than being blood thirsty baying wolves. For that reason I believe we don't actually get our vote, it's just a poll - but when things get too obvious they have to go along with it ~ just to keep us in apathy ~ *cough* coalition government *cough* (yeah, right ).

We pay taxes... for what?

Yes and knowing about this is far more important than knowing about HTML or deinterlacing. Of course most people can't see it because our corrupt "leaders" would never allow such information to be conveyed in schools or the general media. In fact I'm regularly laughed at for drawing attention to it, labeled a conspiracy theorist. It's no theory, the conspiracy is a real fact.

Psshaw. My cat sleeps up by my head and is a lot less of a bed hog than our Dachshund. When he decides to sleep lengthwise so that he can be touching both my wife and me, well, I get the short end of the bed.

only ONE thing can sleep between me and my wife... our kid.

anything else try... gets a rude .. swift .. kick! WTF!

They can stink, musty odor. They are in the same family as badgers, weasels, otters. Neutered don't smell too bad. Some will remove the scent glands.

The two girls the kid left here in quarantine got a bath regularly. The Vulcan would put on heavy work gloves and run them under the faucet. They were spayed but not descented.
They will play in water - wash them and stuff from cage.

Walked into the bathroom once and kid must have had 5 or 6 ferrets playing in the bathtub.

Not so much if you get them decented most of the time they are. they're little thieves had a wireless mouse I'm always losing it because she steals it luckily for me she's got a little favorite place that she stashes her treasures so whenever I'm missing my mouse I know where to find it, but it can be anything if they can pick it up they will steal it, if you've ever seen Beastmaster pretty much like that, she's about 4 years now, Pikachu the Russian Blue just recently passed away, didn't know that cats could get blood clots arteries but they can a lot of the same illness we can die of ,
Ferrets are awesome little pets but they're not legal in all states I think California has a ban on them so if you choose to get one be sure to check the laws what suck to have them come take em away and if you never had one before you should read a book before getting one on them,
Okay I'll stop the ferret talk now, what was the topic of the thread again?

I think it was cats :D

Mine would constantly bring us presents in first thing in the morning. It liked to bring us only the freshest of goods, & insisted on slaughtering / preparing them right in front of us. I think he had split personality, part chef, part badminton player.

I don't eat wood pigeons!

We had a ferret that would climb up the inside of the bureau and snitch all the Vulcan's socks. The Vulcan would have to get the kid to find the stash.

I had a cat that used to shove stuff in the water dish. I found electrical clippers, kid's skating tights, socks in the water bowl. Also had one that used to drag the Vulcan's undies out of the hamper and leave them in the middle of the living room.
