well, being everytime I smali the framework.jar it breaks
man that sucks, you were so happy today, and now you are getting mad! lol just thro in the samsung apps for now, and call it a night, unless of course you are up to the task hahah!

dude you've walked this phone from the east coast all the way to the california border. there's no way you can stop now. the coast line is coming into view. I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT IF IT IS TO BE DONE!
For those of you who don't know. There is an issue with a specific file, the framework.jar in that it cannot be properly disassembled; It breaks. So there will be no fixing of that at this point in time.
You will have to either wait for the AOSP or settle for a build with bh2 contacts and dialer.

I don't mind the behold dialer either, I've also tried messing with that jar file :-( Pain in the ass!

guys. ive just installed this rom from BH2 no twiz 1.5. i was wondering if i can use a different keyboard here? i tried removing Swype.apk from /system/app and i got tons of foreclose.
I installed a **C keyboard. i got from the latest build from cyanogen. to no luck.
it runs but its just slides down very fast. i like this certain keyboard coz im using a
shell type body protector for my BH2. so pressing the the letters on the side of QWERTY keyboard is very hard thats why im using the Phone Keypad type of keyboard.
btw i tried pushing the apk file, installing it thru astro. copying it thru better terminal
to no avail. it just slides close down fast but im not getting a FC.
can somebody help me? thanks!

Is it possible to replace the default browser with Dolphin or something a little more full featured? I don't know if Dolphin is designed as a stand-alone apk or not.
You are able to do this on your own, there are applications that allow you to set dolphin as default if you so choose.
Search the market. It's there. Your phone will ask you to use as default when trying to open a link.

I know it's available in the market and can be set as the default, I meant completely replacing the stock browser since it sucks and almost everyone uses something different anyway.

1. change your yahoo account's region into asia/pacific ( search google if you don't know how
)2. in your email app on BH II, type you email address, pass. Then choose manual set up
3. chose POP3
4. use: pop.mail.yahoo.com for incoming server. For security, chose SSL if available ( or something like that, i don't remember it exactly
)5. use: smtp.mail.yahoo.com for outgoing server. Set security same with incoming server
And you done

Well I tried the 1.6 no twiz (aka Twix) for a day or so had problems with the dialer force closing and battery problems and such. Moved to the 1.6 no twiz(aka DOTS) a lot better from the first, great battery life but fugly and to much custom work done on it with the color scheme an such. Didn't even go with Warheads as to much stuff was taken out like email and stuff a can't remember plus the over customization didn't sit well with me plus I think I dodge a bullet with the Home++ launcher that everyone is having problems with. Finally went back to to 1.6 no twiz (aka Twix) with the tunewiki app added into it and on top of that loaded the new Kernel tar to complete the whole process. To make a long story short works great no more losing root the back button doesn't lag and the the phone sleeps properly I'll post back tomorrow after having a whole day running with it but I think this is it till 2.1 comes out..

BTW. im having an amazing battery performance with this ROM. with the 1.5 BH2 no twiz im gettign around 19hrs on a single charge with moderate use. now im already at 19hrs but with 70% left. very good performance and bat life. oh and i flash when my bat is around 92% i guess il be having more if i flash the phone on full charge.
any ideas guys?
