Help Screen orientation

Hi. My Moto G will rotate the screen orientation I am comfortably viewing in as I lay it on a flat surface to rest away from my hands. 9 times out of 10 I do not want this action to occur. Is there anything I can do about this? Anyone experiencing this? It's making me a little nuts. Thx!

You can turn off screen rotation, settings>display>uncheck auto-rotate screen

Thx Jay. I guess that solves it but it takes it to the extreme of the feature disengaging when I want it to be engaged. I wish there was a happy medium.

I've never actually looked into it but it's possible there is an app somewhere out there that can control the sensitivity... Long shot

Jay actually that was a great suggestion. I settled in on an app called Screen Orientation Controller by Jumpsquares that did the trick. It cost a buck fifty but it gives me app by app control over how I want them to display including the default orientation which is auto rotate, Thanks Jay!
