This is a MOD of the LGSystemUI.apk
I modified the LGSystemUI.apk to remove the Qslide Apps from the notification dropdown.

Note that this link points to multiple files. Choose the appropriate file based on the software version you are using.

How do I check the software version I am using?
> Settings
> About Phone
> Software information
> Software version

If will state LS720ZV5, LS720ZV6, or LS720ZV7
If you are on v5, download the qslideapp_removal-v5.zip
If you are on v6, download the qslideapp_removal-v6.zip

If you are on v7, download the qslideapp_removal-v6.zip
The v6 version will work on v7

How to Install
Copy zip file onto your phone and flash the zip in CWM like you would a rom.
No need to wipe anything, just flash over top of your current installation. All this does is replace your LGSystemUI.apk inside your /system/app folder.

If you are running an odexed rom, or are not sure, you will need to remove the LGSystemUI.odex file manually. It is located inside the /system/app folder. I may update this in the future to remove the LGSystemUI.odex file automaticlly. But until then, you need to do it your self.

Errors:
If your notification bar (systemUI) disappears, Read the paragraph above. Otherwise restore from a backup.

Didn't make a back up? Re-flash your Rom over top your current install. Don't have a current install? Install the stock Rom based on your software version. ^^Directions are above.

Per the other thread on the same subject I edited the /res/values/bools.xml file to turn off config_systemui_feature_floating_launcher

I wanted to try it myself. This one is deodexed. The other is not.

Works well, the only issue I've noticed is that the clock and date are now white instead of the default blue.

Maybe sometime in the future. I'm a little busy. You can modify it with the xposed installer app with gravity box or another module if you want it sooner.

I added this mod to the Psycho Billy rom as an update. It has the default blue notification area clock. Not the white as in this thread.

Awesome! Thanks a lot. Have you had any luck changing the color of the status bar? Gravitybox will for me until I get a notification, then it turns gray again.

I had no problem changing the status bar color. If Gravitybox doesn't work out too well you may want to try another module. There's a few good xposed modules like Gravitybox and XBlast Tools that modify the SystemUI.

Xblast works a bit better but still does the same. What ROM are you using? I'm on stock deodexed.

I updated the OP. I added a mod for v6 to complement the v5 mod. I also changed the installation method to make it easier. All you have to do now is flash in CWM instead of needing to use adb to push the file onto the phone.

I definitely downloaded the right one. Twice to make sure the problem wasn't during the download. I even pulled the apk from the zip and had the same problem. I did notice that the file was the same size as the v5 one which is slightly larger than the v6. Not sure if that has anything to do with it though.
