Root [Boost Mobile] No data connection after flashing

I have tried flashing Liquid Smooth and the Carbon Kit Kat ROMS and the flash is successful except for no data connection. I have tried to enter ##3282# on the dial pad but that does nothing at all, the code just sits there and no new screen pops up. I am new to this field so any help I can get please word for a Newbie...Thanks
 
Not necessarily. Some users of Liquid Smooth use MG2 modem.
You might try reflashing the MK5 modem and see if that helps. What baseband are you on now?
 
So I tried installing miui v5 that's linked in the massive ROM page we have. It installed. Everything works great! Except one thing. I get no data. I tried the APN fix. Tried without APN fix. Tried mk3 modem. And mk5.

Any advice? Also booted MOAR and did a prl to no result
 
I flashed the [MOD] Universal Boost APN fix for D2LTE builds [MOD] right after flashing liquid smooth and things are working fine now

I love MIUI but the latest builds won't work for data even with the fix. I'm not sure why. You have to use an older version. I believe the last working one was 4.2.2 or something. I could check my computer for it if you can't find it.
