So around 2010/2011 I had rooted my droid x with apex 1.4.1 and I'm trying to factory reset this phone to it's original state completely. I couldn't seem to do it through the privacy function in the settings so I'm not sure what else to do. I can give any information as asked upon PLEASE I need to fix this bad.

Droid X does not have a fastboot mode, just bootloader, and stock recovery.
Factory reset does not restore stock, only wipes user data.

My android version is 2.2.1 and system version is 2.3.340.mb810 this will still work right? or do i need a diff version

It will work, but once on 621 it can not be downgraded, if you want you can use 2.3.3/4.5.605 or older links here Linux solution to your Windows/RSD lite problems
Did it via USB with 621 it got to certain C"XX" and it gave me some errors that I seem to have forgotten but when the phone rebooted it was still just as I had it. Followed it step for step and repeated it 3 times and all 3 times it came up bunk. Any idea/way to figure out what went wrong?
I followed your directions step by step and came to no success. I did it via the USB method. I got some sort of check sum errors on multiple code group c's I believe it was. Any idea how to fix?
