Root Simple instructions to installing CWM Recovery?

kaytin143

Newbie
I just started to get the hang of root for a couple months , and now im to the point where i want to play with my phone lol. I wanna do more but to do that i need CWM Recovery? I read most of the threads here but it's still a bit confusing to me (sorry). How do I install CWM recovery on my phone? Just that? I already have root using CydiaImpactor.

Again, Still a newbie here so sorry v_v

Root your phone (already done I presume)
Download Rashr from Play store
Put CWM (extract recovery.img from cwm.zip) on your sdcard
Install CWM with Rashr
Profit

So I can just install it without a computer? :D Will this do anything to my things on my phone? (Factory reset, lost of data, restarting clash of clans ='( ) ?

Nope
Also suggest Titanium Backup. Will allow you to backup your apps and their data to your sdcard. I couldn't live without my 8mil cash/2k coins on Real Racing 3

RASHR Says that my device needs to be rooted. I have rooted for months and double checked on Check Root and it says I AM rooted??

And as for Titanium Backup I already have it, also can't live without it

Oh so what I have to do now is download a rom and install it right :), and this should fix the problem , wheather its a stock or a custom rom , as long as it is made for the ZTE awe, and if so what rom would you suggest :), like I said in a noob at this :p, thanks

Naturally the creators (brittnearl/starkraving *Moonshine* and myself *AWEsome*) would suggest theirs, lol.
AWEsome has a custom kernel developed by rbheromax/cooldudezach who aren't around too much because of life, and the kernel isn't quite stable. Its very much a stock ZTE Awe ROM with only a few adjustments. The kernel is the big downside as it only seems to work on select devices. Those who it does not work on results in bootloops and crashes. It will be worked on sometime soon, by me, but I'm in the hospital right now with my son so all in due time.
Moonshine is themed out the wahzoo and runs very nicely! Its still based off of stock AWE firmware, but brittnearl and starkraving have made the system ui and apps look gorgeous. It has stock kernel, so there isn't any worry about reboots/crashes. Its like a whole new device.
Basically its up to you. TRY AWEsome and if it doesn't boot...well I told ya so lol. Moonshine is definitely stable and worth running as your daily.
