OTA update does not install

I tried months ago, and it didn't work. I just tried again, and it didn't work. After its downloaded and the phone restarts, I get a little android figuring and an installation bar under it The bar seems to only fill up one third of the way before it boots up the phone. When I check the software version, it still says D50010b.

I thought it was maybe because I was rooted, so I used rootkeeper to temporarily unroot the phone. Still didn't work after I tried again. What could it be?

Sorry, idk what would cause it then. I just used ota rootkeeper to backup and temp sunroof then installed update and restored root. But I didn't have cwm recovery installed. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. I'm sure someone else will come along with more advice.

For an OTA update to work your phone needs to be completely stock like the day you bought it. Head on over to the t-mobile f6 root forum and there should be a guide on how to restore your phone to stock.

[Sorry, I'm missing something... ]
Why did you refer him to a T-Mobile thread?
