Root [LINARO] AWEstruck v1.04 12/14/14 | [3.4.107] v1.05b6 5/30/15

Yeah, I have trickstermod included with AWEsome. Unfortunately the set on boot option only applies AFTER boot, delayed til the system acquires root permisson . MP-decision is always off for me because the second core always gets switched off periodically.
Britt, what did you exclude to disable MP?

OK guys, after working through a mountain of compiler warnings I think I got this. Please rename /system/bin/mpdecision to /system/bin/mpdecision_backup and test out oc4.img - 7.35 MB and let me know if the phone boots at 1.18GHz or 1.25GHz (I only added 1.25 in for now so that I don't set any phones on fire). If you're seeing both cores at 1.18GHz I can declare victory and make a release. For now, I'm getting some sleep...

Almost forgot, this will enable mpdecision tuning in Android Tuner AND Trickster Mod. I *think* temperature throttling should work too, which will be a great thing for those with thermal issues. I think I lucked out, but my wife's phone could probably be used as a hot plate.

Lol...same issues between mine and my g/f phones. I dont have any issues with mine (running AWEsome 1.1 with o/c kernel @ highest clock/performance governor) where hers won't take the kernel like others, but still gets super warm playing PvZ2.
Must be a woman thing >_<

OK guys, I've enabled an underclock to 162MHz and overclock to 1.7GHz for now. Phone still loads at 384MHz-1.2GHz by default. But it's lagging like crazy, so I'm "releasing" a beta for now in hopes that I can get help finding out what's causing the lag. Github is up to date.

My phone was extremely slow to boot/run and i get reboots/ shutdowns

Same thing I experienced, and benchmarks show horrible CPU and I/O. Not sure which change caused it, I need to do some reverting tomorrow. Suspecting mpdecision simply because it would seem to have the most impact, but that will suck as I think that's how I got the default clocks to hold.

I'm having same lagging issues. Not sure if this helps, but I remember one time that we had a new kernel and it was lagging simply because a few steps were left out, so it was having to upscale to far all at once without having all the necessary Mhz to step up through. I'm sorry if that's a terrible explanation, but that's my best way to describe it.

So I herd you like overclocking...

My phone is only stable to 1.45GHz, but let's see how other people fare before I go tweaking voltages. Release coming tomorrow.

After testing over the last day I think you guys will really like this version. Overnight drain was 1.2%/h, and when overclocked it seems to scream.

Any more requests? Otherwise I'm going to move on to cleaning out junk and applying patches.

So far I'm running at 1.7 and no reboots :) great work!!

I/O / cpu govs, gpu oc/govs, fast charge, voltages, color controls?

For an odd reason its wildly unstable for me. Reboots entering performance control. Going to try downloading again to see if it was just a bad download.

This release covered I/O and cpu. can definitely look into gpu. Fast charge may be tricky, I've seen fast charge in the logcats so i think there just isn't an interface for overriding.

Can you point me to examples of voltages and color controls? Dynamic voltage control should be available now, but I think the kernel controls itself with this implementation.

Voltages aren't a huge deal, but I feel like the colors aren't as poppy as they should be. Look at something like the GNex for examples of these controls

Check the MD5 to be sure. ManD5 is great for this.

I'll note I had issues with Trickster Mod, it would reboot when applying frequency changes. Android Tuner has been stable.

We are gonna try adding mpdecision service bk to script, although I don't think it will matter as u made it kernel side?

Correct, it's integrated with the kernel. Enabling the ROM version may cause conflicts and unintended overclocks. My update script is deleting the binary from the ROM.

If you haven't worked out the rebooting yet, can you logcat until a reboot and pastebin it? After the reboot, pastebin last_kmsg. Hopefully I can find some clues from there.

Won't stay booted long enough to pull a log on the device. Will pull you one when I get home via PC.
