Root [ROM] [Unofficial CM11] (Still in development)

So, I have a bit of a problem, I have flashed every ROM on the awe fourms and never ran into a problem, until now. I recently flashed this ROM coming from the 2.6 moonshine white. I used it for about a week and wanted to try the 2.7 moonshine ROM, but here's where the problem is, every time I flash any ROM other than the CM11, the phone WILL NOT boot. It will show the android guy then go black or it will show the android guy and go into a boot loop. And then I have to flash CM11 at least 3 times before it will boot again. Regardless of data wipes. Also, it won't let me flash any recoverys. I'm using TWRP for a recovery currently.

Wipe everything. Go to mounts and format system (not boot) format data a couple of times and format data/media and cache then flash cm11

*edit
Don't forget to format dalvik cache

So we can flash the new kernel and the issue will be fixed? Either way, thanks for working on this as I don't like how the work around works with some apps.

You guys are really awesome, especially Phenomx4 for doing a lot of deving. Very happy on having a cyanogenmod 11 for the Awe. Much thanks.

So from what I understand, on Phenomx4's version, we have the radio/wifi functioning. If that's so is there an up-to-date .zip somewhere, or are we waiting for Phenom to finish to his liking?

Its being thoroughly tested and bugs are being squashed as we speak. There is no public build yet.

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply. I'm very much excited for the public build whenever it will be released. The last .zip was awesome even without the functioning radio, and seemed to perform really well. Very exciting times are these. :)

Great to have progress on cm 11. Is this going to be like cm 11 or cm11s? And thanks for all of your hard work.
The .zip he released earlier was cm11, cm11s is a version that I think was released for the OnePlus. It's been several months of work to get the version we're using to work on the ZTE Awe, but I think one CyanogenMod 11 works, then CM11s could be gotten to work.

The problem being CM11s just released alongside the OnePlus, and it's being brought to other phones. It's really up to Phenox4 if he wants to put in the effort to bring CM11s to the Awe, as he is basically the only one with enough skills. It looks as if it's only some smaller improvements, especially with UI, so it may not be that difficult.

Personally, I'm just psyched to get CM11 on my cheap phone, never expected such economical awesome. :)

I actually didn't know there was a CM11s until you commented.

Don't know how you programmers do it, mad respect. Really looking forward to CM11, you guys got me psyched for it. Thanks everyone for your hard work.
