This is the flagship device for Sprint. It has to come out in May. Like I said before. If this phone comes out in late May as Bill and the rest of us hopes for, it will get all the attention. As much as I hate to admit it, June is the month of the apple. Sprint does not want their flagship phone to be overshadowed. Look we all know the EVO destroys the iphone but unfortunately there are so many iphone users out there.

anyways, about the whole storage for apps thing....it's been noted in other threads and other websites that what the evo is rumored to have for app storage is more than enough.
the average app is a bit less than 1mb. LESS THAN 1MB. if it's more, the app is broken into parts and the core part (exe or engine or whatever) resides in the allocated app area while other parts (audio, jpg, other data, etc) are stored on the sd card or mass storage area.
and if you're still worried about that storage thing:

possibly on froyo. relax people.

This was posted by Ajac. I would like to see some comfirmation from another source before I get all worked up. Not sure but Ajac has been trying to stir up stuff for some time now. He was Mr Negative " I don't beleive anything unless Sprint says it" not that long ago.

Yep & it looks like a May 1st date as wellI guess they did not have the correct information next to it yet because from what I can make out the bottom left blurred image says FREE.

nice find! call me naive but it looks legit to me. looks like a Sprint store clear plastic display holder with white and yellow paper with specs behind it with power and alarm security cables snaked erect from bottom. i also recognize that Sprint store honey colored wood table. so they are setting up display and security? this is beyond just an "Advocate" getting it early.
my upgrade is June 1 and i will be in full schmooze mode to get this puppy early if it comes out in May.

sorry i thought it was comming from his Evo Sprint Advocate chosen at my local Sprint store post,
I checked 3 local Sprint stores that Don't know anything about anyone getting phones yet. They still say June or Summer, not getting my hopes up yet.
Looking forward to what Jackson and SP have to say about May 22nd

Jackson and SP would only be able to speculate as well. I think I gave pretty convincing reasons why I believe the May 22nd date, but again, it's just speculation.
I think I gave good reasons for my turnaround. Don't you?

oh i'm not questioning your turnaround. just your inclusion of "May 22" in every other one of your posts like some kind of mantra or chant to the smartphone gods.

i think SP already said Sprint could release in May if they wanted to. No one understands what reasons Sprint does things because they do it wrong most of the time. So lets hope for a change in that.
