[HELP] anti-tethering

Hey, is it possible to connect the motorola milestone to the net via a pc?
I'm using a cable internet connection on my pc. My router is connected to the pc using cables. However, since my router isn't wireless, my milestone cannot connect to the internet via wifi. Is it then possible to connect the milestone to the computer via usb and use the internet the computer is on, just like how the tethering works, but only the opposite?

1. My laptop doesn't have a wireless card
2. My laptop is connected to a non-wireless router which is then only connected to the modem
3. I'm running on windows 7
4. I have bluetooth both on my comp and phone

thanks!!

Short answer, NO
long question is, WHY?
Why would you want to be tied(physically) to your internet connection?

why would i? i have no choice. I'd rather be physically tied to my laptop(I wouldn't mind since I'm at home) and have an internet connection on my android than not having that connection at all.

I think the proper question would be why would you want wired internet access through your PC, when you can use your PC's internet connection to surf the internet?

I think people are just baffled why you would sit at your computer and use your droid over the laptop.

Anyway, I haven't heard anything of this being done.

seriously, don't attack his reasoning for wanting it.

just help him out if you know a way.

that being said, i don't know any method of doing. but it seems very possible.

Perhaps it'd be possible with Bluetooth somehow? There's no way it's possible over USB. The Droid's bootloader doesn't really like to give us access to the USB port on it for much at all.

Far as i know u can only share the androids internet connection via BT. im assuming you have like a g1 but no internet package right? your best bet was already stated, buy a wifi router they are cheap and work much better theny any bypass you are trying to do.

Not sure were you are from that you can't bum up $40 for a wifi router. In the 6 days since your post had you stashed away just $5 a day you could had a wifi router and been done with this ordeal.
A bluetooth PAN is possible on the PC, but on the phone its a whole different story.
Do a google search on motorola milestone reverse tethering then take the first step of a long journey of learning.
