Root [Sprint] 720t hot?

Okay so just after flashing a backup my phone booted and i noticed some lag. So off to twrp to wipe davlic. As i watched the screen shut off i picked my phone back up in anticipation of recovery. This is where I noticed it. It was so hot i thought it might burn my flesh. So.. i needed to know. I rebooted and held it.. it got hot again. Real hot. So i (fearing the death of my phone every second) went to the playstore downloaded a cpu temp app. It was at 41 Celsius. Ambient was 65-70 degrees Fahrenheit. I immediately wiped completely and flashed a different rom. Now its not so bad.. but it does still hit 38-40 sometimes.

Its the downside of teh chipset. the s4pro/snapdragon600 gets very hot, if you think the s4 is bad you should try the htc one with its metal backing.

Is there anything that can be done to cool the phone down?

So far so good.. I installed kt747 and underclocked to 1700MHz and she's not gotten over 38c

Can I use that on Carbon ROM? Anything to cool this phone down. I can hardly hold it sometimes.
