Root [MetroPCS] i need help

Some may not answer you because the answer is all over this forum as well as others but i've been in your shoes... Not sure if its the right way and dont want to mess up a million dollar phone...


You need to download an original Stock MetroPCS S4 Image which i happen to have. You can download that (Plus all kinds of cool ROMS and fun stuff) HERE or if that file is too big for you let me know and i will give you a drop box link to both copies of either the T-Mobile Stock or the MetroPCS stock.

But that torrent DOES come with instructions... with all the extra goodies it comes with its just 7.9GB:rolleyes:

1.) Download my torrent

2.) Install Samsung Drivers on your computer

3.) Put phone in download mode (Turn off, then hold Volume DOWN + HOME Button + Power, then press whatever button it sais for you in order to continue)

4.) Open ODIN 307 or 308 (Both are included in my torrent)

5.) Use the "PDA" section and find the stock image.

6.) Hit Start.

7.) DONE.

EDIT: You COULD uncheck everything except the return to stock files within the torrent and that will reduce the download time greatly. Please give me a thumbs up and add a nice comment to my profile on KAT if you dont mind!! It comes with instructions!!

I created a torrent containing ONLY the stock images to simplify things for you. The download may be a little slow because i'm the only seed at the moment but if you can't find it on android forums this is the best i can do for you.

If you've never torrented before you will need a torrent client to download the file like "uTorrent" or something. There are many but i prefer uTorrent 2.2.1

If all thats too much for you then use ARocker's links that he posted in his unofficial ATR thread. There are three links for three different methods:

1.) ODIN Method

2.) TWRP Restore method

3.) CWM (Clockwork Mod) Method

If you want TRUE back to stock then use the images in my torrent file. Those are not pre-rooted are deodexed or anything.

If you are currently on 4.3 or 4.4 do NOT flash any stock images below 4.3 or you will soft/hard brick your phone! You've been warned

i did not release that. The Sickness did.

I just kept the download available because someone pissed him off and he took all his links down.

The sickness V2 REALLY is sick, though... ESPECIALLY with all the mods to go with it OMG :D
 
My samsung galaxy s4 wont let me used it no more i was using a at&t sim on it than i put a metro pcs on it after o got my contacts i put back my at&t sim n is asking for a pin tu unlock Sim someone help please
