Display/Radio/Battery Questions Pre-Buy

Considering a jump from a RAZR Maxx HD with these questions:

How is the M8 display in direct sunlight? The RAZR's super amoled sucks eggs outdoors and I can't deal with it anymore. I haven't been able to determine the M8 screen technology.

The 3300mAh battery on the Maxx is great. What's the capacity on the M8? Any Maxx HD converts who can draw a comparison in actual use?

Moto has a first rate radio. The other end of the spectrum is Sammy IMO. What is the M8 like? As someone who actually uses the phone, this is critical for me.

Would especially love input if you used to have a Maxx HD.

TIA.

The M8 has a Super-LCD screen (reportedly Super-LCD 3)
It does pretty great in sunlight. Especially if you are coming from a phone that does poorly in sunlight. If you typically turn down your brightness, you might have to turn it back up in the sun for best results.

It has a non-removable Lithium Polymer (LiPo) battery with 2600 mAh capacity. The size of the battery and conservative use from Sense software have provided a long lasting combination. You are not going to get MAXX type numbers obviously, but it is pretty solid for a full days use.

The radio is good, but not great. I'm with Sprint so it does not mean that much to you.
On the spectrum, it should be somewhere between the Motorola and Samsung.
