Help Saved image location

When I find a pic on the net I want to save I click the menu button & then save pic. It says picture saved to this device but I can't find it. I've looked in the gallery, in downloads & in all the albums in my gallery. It's just not there. Any help ? Please

what browser are you using? look in the settings for that browser ad it will tell you where the saved images/files go.

if you do save a file, pay attention as it may say briefly on the screen where the saved image/file was sent to.

check your "downloads" folder also.

Gallery > Albums > All Photos

Should be there. It is possible that you have hidden 'all photos' so once you are in the albums section, click menu and then select show/hide albums to make it show.

hi to all,
from today no pictures appares in the gallery on my HTC One. I take a picture but after that i can't find it.... so, no pictures inside my phone. I checked the SD card installed inside: i can check megabyte and number of pictures but i can't see it. someone can help me?

Choose the location while downloading. Once you click the download button to download the pic, the phone ask about the location. So, just choose the location and download it on the targeted area..

Hi Guys,

I am new to this forum and was looking for a little help.

I have a HTC One.

A while ago for some reason all my photos dissapeared I am pretty sure that I didn't delete them but then again I might have!!!! :( I remember deleting one photo however the next day they were all gone!!

I have installed both Quickpic and ES File Explorer however neither of these apps can see any of the deleted photos. They recoginse the new ones, does this mean that they are gone for good or have been over written with the new ones.

Thanks for any help

hello.

have you plugged your device into your computer and manually searched/looked for the files? there is a DCIM folder that should have any previous files stored there.

of course, if you accidentally deleted a folder when you thought it was just a single file, you can't retrieve those files.

I suggest going forward that you use photobucket, google drive, skydrive, dropbox, etc, to auto sync your photos so if this happens again you have a cloud backup.

Hey, when I would post a photo to Instagram, my phone would save that posted pic in a folder titled "Instagram." About 2 weeks ago, I plugged my phone into my laptop and reorganized some photo folders, including moving that "Instagram" folder (which I think was in the DCIM folder) into a different master folder to categorize photos I've been working on. Now my posted Instagram folders do not save in that folder, nor can I find them anywhere in any folder on my phone. I moved that same original "Instagram" folder back to DCIM, but no joy. I would like to have these photos saved after I've manipulated them in the Instagram editor. I lose quality ripping them off an Instagram website online.

Any ideas?
