Root [ROM]AOKP][KITKAT][4.4.4][Exhibit]T599x

the only thing i have a question about is flashing the recovery in odin. where do i load the recovery file? PDA? anything need to be checked/unchecked?

this is usually the thing thats missing from most write ups. everyone assumes you know what to check in ODIN.

this may actually help me more. im only interested in a custom rom because im having issues with the only app i run on this phone (perkTV) crashing, but not crashing on the 5 other exhibits i have. flashing a rooted stock rom is more what i was looking for, and the instructions are easy to understand (not saying yours arent!)

Yeah use pda. And usually when you first run Odin everything that shouldn't be checked is already unchecked but for reference the only two that should be checked are auto reboot and f. Reset time.

that xda stock pre root rom worked like a charm. the crashing problem i was having is now gone and my farm is back to making me $$$

Based on what I've seen it's normally at 3g until you try to access the web or something that requires data then it will to H for hspa I believe which is the same as 4g. Also the numbers refer to the carrier. In the case of 310260 it refers to metropcs/t-mobile. You'll see that in any cm11 based rom.

It stays at 3g until use which saves battery, and hspa is the same as 4g, they had mentioned this on one of the posts on XDA

Ok thank you, i loaded some videos from computer to sdcard, and i cant play them correctly, lag, i thought it was thr default player so i downloded vlc but their is still lag.

Yup same here, major lag for me. I can't even enjoy the rom or use it at all. Homescreen take so long to scroll through, app drawer takes long to load. Pretty much both Launcher3 & Google Now Launcher are really laggy. But im pretty sure it has to do with the rom itself. The 4.4.4 bulid & 4.4.4 r2 build are really laggy. I remember the 4.4.2 build wasn't even laggy.
