Help LED not flashing after update to KitKat

So, since I've updated from JB to KitKat, this home button LED is not flashing for 3rd party apps.
Call is fine, SMS does the job, but What'sApp, Hangouts, FB messenger, w/e, nothing.
This happens only if the phone is locked.
When I'm in the middle of a call, and if I receive a notification, when I'm holding my phone next to my ear (when screen is off), I can see LED flashing.
Based on google research, I'm not the only one with this problem, and it's a KitKat thing.
If anyone comes with a solution, that'll be great.
I can't leave my phone on silent now, because I actually have to hear notifications. *sadpanda*

This was happening to me without the KitKat update, GoSMS would no longer flash my home button led at all for any reason. I had to do a hard reset with the mobile tool and reroot to get it going again.

What version of the F6 are you using that you got a KitKat update?

European, D505, got KitKat few days ago.
It's a common kitkat issue, based on what I've seen on the internets.
Not a single one has found a solution, yet maybe there's someone here that knows a solution.
Hard reset does not help.
Like there's something blocking the LED to flash when there's a notification. Don't know.
