Verizon Note 3: Best free tethering app. Using foxfi

I'm current using foxfi successfully, but as someone of you already know it's cuts you off after some time and ask you to buy the full version. If it was $1-$2, I might buy it, but at $8, I just can't justifying it. Sure I have the money but I feel like it's a rip off.

Anyone know of any free or low cost tethering apps?

Thanks in advance

It needs a a subscriptions. However, I found a way around it. I just dont open foxfi first. Go directly to settings and turn on tether, it looks for a subscription and catches foxfi, since the app isn't technically open it doesn't know when to cut me off. I've been on this thing for 3hrs now.

I don't pay extra for it? It comes default with all smartphone plans.

Many of us still retain unlimited data from an old plan so turning on the stock vzw tethering app is expensive. I think it is $30 a month. It is my understanding that hyperdrive rom allows you to turn on stock vzw wifi hotspot for free and no subscription is required but I wouldn't dare try that personally.

I am using Fox Fi and the overall wifi works quite well. My dilemma has been trying to turn off the PIN that I inadvertantly activated. I have read many posts with Google search and now the best I can do is delay the re-entry by the max 30 minutes allowed. I would like to turn off the PIN completely and go back to my swipe.
I even deleted all my credentials and that did not work. I tried entering wrong PIN 5 times and now you get a prompt to re-enter in 30 seconds rather than entering Google password.
Anyone have a asolution.

Thanks:rolleyes:

So, I'm now on a 6gb data plan (from unlimited) after upgrading to my Note 3. Does this mean that I have/can get free mobile hotspot from Verizon? I know that under unlimited, you would have to pay for Verizon's mobile hotspot, but I recall that it should be free if you're on a limited data plan.
