I'm just saying that when I choose to answer a question for someone, I answer clearly and thoroughly. I also try to provide links to coincide with my answer. Not answering someone is fine, but there's no need to give a dismissive answer. Its pointless, elitist, belittling, in other words the opposite of what the forum is for. This community is generally a little more friendly than others (ex-dee-something). my 2 cents.

It's not because I'm rude. It's because it keeps order in terms of topics. Should that person have further questions, for the sake of micromanagement, the question is better solved there. Also, for an outsider looking for a solution to the same issue it is much easier to rely on that set thread. Simple as that. It's like going to a doctor about your dietary needs. They'll know a few things but it's best if you ask the experts.

Madbat....My apologies; I misread your post. I didn't intend to start any squabbles as this is an excellent forum with some great members. My original question was based on not finding (maybe not understanding) previous posts regarding an SD image.

The rom image? Boot into recovery and flash the zip file.
 
I wasn't trying to start trouble either. I truly enjoy this community. I also didn't quite get what he meant about, once being updated to NDC you could no longer truly unbrick your phone with the " boot off the SD method". You're saying he meant a zip of system image?

Be warned that for some reason the gyro sensor will probably not work with this rom. I tried every kernel for this device and it was either a gyro sensor working and Wi-Fi not working or vice versa.

Edit: Wi-Fi not wife.
 
I tried it last night, I really like the way it looked. I didn't get to test everything but it seemed stable enough, yes you need APN fix. I am also on NDC modem and boot loader. My daily is stock nd8 ROM, but still NDC modem and boot loader, Just so I can use the hotspot mod.
I am going to try it again tonight and I'll come back with results and to answer some questions. Let me know anything specific you'd like me to test/check. :cool:

Can you check for the screen rotation?
 
Its weird data works calling works I can receive text but they fail when I send.Just tried again.apns are correct.Need to get this figured out I really like this pretty smooth.
