what will this do for me that is different from R3? I know its petes new gem but I'm pretty happy with what I have in r3 and dont feel like wiping data and downloading and installing all my apps... Is it really that much more noticeably faster??
Is there a way to get the 2.1 default Droid live wallpaper? I used the switchlwp script with the one in your ESE81 R3 rom. It shows up in the wallpaper selection but when I choose it I get a FC. Any Ideas??
Jeff, about your boot loop and SD Card issue.
I just saw this at AD posted by Pete, post #628.
[ROM] Bugless Beast V1.0 ESE81
Backup Your SDCard to your computer
Menu > Settings > SD Card > Unmount > Format
Hope it helps.
I know it was mentioned before in the forum but what battery widget are you using again?
Fab..
Giving up for the night.. it works, but the Off/reboot issue is there, rather stay on your V3.. although I like the new fonts.. so I did a nandroid, even with the issues, when booted it works, but I know when I will need it to shut off, a battery pull is something I don't want to do.. Dunno.. I will try BB and Nextheme only sometime this week

Sorry to hear Jeff!
Pete's still porting over some kernels, so maybe he'll have a non-LV version available eventually?
By the way, I'm pretty sure I can cook up an update.zip of the new font for R3, if you'd like![]()
Sure, I just pulled this from the stock BBV1:
LiveWallpapers.apk
Put it on your sdcard, run the script (make sure LWP is not on while you do this).
That's the Nexus version, I was talking about the Droid one with the dark background and red.

This one^^^^
I downloaded the 1ghz kernel but don't know how to install it.
Do u have rom manager installed from the market?
Jamie,
Just install the kernel the exact same way you installed the ROM. That is, if you are using SPRecovery, rename the file to 'update.zip' and install from within recovery.
If you used Clockwork recovery, you can just use ROM manager to 'install .zip from SD Card' and install the kernel (no need to wipe any data)
Ah, ok..
I have installed from the SD Card before with another Rom I was playing with, so I would just select the 1ghz kernel zip without wiping if I am understanding you correctly.
Thanks and sorry for what I am sure seems like such a simple question.
Jamie
I have a question about kernels and battery life. During the week I'm on the go, would running the 600sv or 800lv be more conducive too not having to charge as much?

The link says lv but after installing it and checking the kernel it is actually sv. I think it was a mistake made yesterday in bb's alldroid forum. You can dl the "600lv" but the file is actually sv.Where are you getting the 600SV (I'm guessing that's standard voltage?). The 600MHz kernel that comes with this ROM is LV.
Anyways, the 800LV can clock down to 600, so I think that is the winner here![]()

Gotchya! Good eye, heh.
