Root Rom flashing help!

I have tried flashing some roms on my elite but I have this weird problem.The flash goes well but once I go to the play store it does not update nor does it allow me tho install apps.I thought maybe it's the common problem. I cleared data for Google play and the frameworks but nothing.I also tried other roms they were all 4.0+ based and had the same problem...But I get no error.... it just gets stuck ons downloading... and never hits any percentage. I tried flashing gingerbread based roms and they do not get this problem...Any help? I tried flashing again and also fixing permissions but still nothing. I basically tried everything in cwm:-(

ive never encountered that problem.
could it by any chance be the gapps youre using or how youre installing them?

I thought of that but I flashed TWRP and then flashed the Rom and what do you know it worked(i tested all roms) Have you found a fix? Try flashing TWRP
