Help rooting LG Optimus Exceed 2 VS450PP

Hello,
Could anyone help me with rooting this stupid phone? Is it even possible? Ive tried every rooting program there is to no avail. Ive searched the internet for some kind of help but there is nothing about it. Help please!:(
 
Nah bud thats not my phone, mine is the exceed 2 VS450PP, thats for the exceed one VS840PP. Ive tried all that and like everything else it doesnt work. :confused:

What version of android comes on it?

Edit: nevermind about android version. It seems that it is running KitKat 4.4.2
You should be able to root with towelroot from http://towelroot.com

It's easy as 1-2-3. Click the lambda icon on the website page, download, install, "make it ra1n".
 
After you root with towelroot and install SuperSU, install busybox as well.

Then if you could run this command via terminal emulator or adb:

Paste the log please.

Also once you are rooted, Verizon will be able to know if you have rooted your phone. So will LG. LG implemented an entire mechanism to detect root and keep logs about using root into kitkat.
 
Thanks. Towelroot worked perfectly. I use this LG "burner" for my media remote for chromecast and xfinity apps.

Wanted to see if the phone uses a laf partition which in fact it does. You may be able to bootloader unlock, but not quite sure if LG's security will still kick in, it does on some phones, doesn't on others. I'm pretty sure since you're with Verizon, LG Security will still kick in after flashing a CWM recovery/non-stock boot.img/recovery.img
 
Holy crap it seemed to have worked. So I installed this supersu and busybox but what the hell is it that they do? Im new to smartphones really. And if you could give more instructions on how to do this log thing that would be cool. Also, do I need to kep this towelroot installed? All I know is after I installed it I lost a lot of space on my phone which is the whole reason I wanted it rooted in the first place so I could move dumb ass programs and games to my SD card.

Yea, you can remove it. There are tons of guides of how to set up and use link2sd, thats what I recommend using.
 
Man this phone is a pain in my ass. So Im trying to create a partition on my SD card so I can link the bigger programs to it with link2sd. If I create 2 partitions using fat32 link2sd will not let me move a programs data saying something about how fat32 is not secure, use ext 2,3, or 4 blah blah blah. So if I make the second partition ext 2,3, or 4 I then get an error with link2sd about not being able to create a mount script, like with ext 3 it says, "mount script cannot be created operation not supported on transport endpoint." Ffs all I want to do is free up internal phone space! Help!?
 
Now what you do is install it and click the "lambda" symbol. (Click the middle where there arent any words) this is the easiest toot i ever seen.
 
I really hate the status window. (QSlide and the other one) anybody know how i can just get rid of that stuff? Have me a nice clean one? Im running the 4.4.2.

I need the stock recovery for this phone if anyone has it. Mine is borked and while all else on the phone works it says i have no storage available. I need to factory data reset and i have no pc so i cant just do it the long way (kdz).
And just so everyone is aware, remember the stock option to move apps to the sd card, yeah, its back. I would not have this problem had i saw that.
I personally really lile this lil phone and i have had manymanymany.
 
towelroot failed on the first try (I clicked makeitrain several times after it turned yellow) with a reboot

The second time I just hit makeitrain once and waited, i got root this time
