Email Signature and S pen

Hi Everyone. New to Android. Using a Galaxy Note 3 and set up my e-mail signature. Now when I try to enter text in the e-mail body using text recognition, the signature is already there, taking up most of the writing area. Any way around this other than not having a signature? Thanks for your help.

The area in which you type the body of your email is above the signature already. There is plenty of space and the signature stays below the area in which you type at all times. When you type a sentence or press enter the signature stays below the lines where the cursor is.

If you don't wish there to be any signature present at the time of writing your email you can use a clipboard application such as Clipper, available from the Google Play store to keep your chosen signature in a permanent place so that you can touch on it and immediately copy it to the clipboard then paste it into the email.

The Clipper application is available by searching the Google Play store or clicking the web link below:

Thanks for the advice. I'll try clipper. It's more than just a space issue though. When the signature is there, for some reason it doesn't automatically make a space between each word. It makes one long word out of all the individual words I write.

Way different than that. I forgot to mention that I'm using Gmail app.
How did you do that screen capture video? I could post a video or my own.

I am using "SCR Pro" application from the Google Play store to capture the screen.

The email client that I am using is also the latest official gMail application..

Not fancy, but should get the point across.

Use the Samsung Keyboard and then activate the handwriting mode in order to be able to write like my video.

Also try toggling the "Direct Pen Input" option in the S Pen section of the General tab in the system settings.

Thanks for all of your help. I appreciate it.
My Samsung keyboard shows just a mic for voice input where yours shows direct pen.
I'm going to try t the app above.
Now I switched my work email to the email app instead of the Gmail app and I can't do direct pen input at all.
I'll try to sort it out. Thanks again for your time.

Hold onto the mic button and see if a menu pops up with the direct pen option.
