Make picture into a home screen icon?

I have a picture of my workers schedule and currently, to view it, I need to open photo gallery and find it there.

Is there a way I can turn the picture into an icon on my home screen so that when I need to look at it I can just click on the icon and it will open the picture?

ES File Explorer. Tick the file. Menu - choose 'add to desktop'.

You can add a picture to your home sxreen/desktop using xPlore File Manager. Once you install that application from the Google Play store the you get the option to add a shortcut to your home screen Added to Android. I made a video below.
